March 13 - Madison, Women: Mad As Hell Rally

Vote: Mad as Hell Rally

Tuesday, March 13

12noon-1pm

State Capitol, Madison (STATE ST STEPS)

Bring your friends, your signs, your pink t-shirts, your voice

Join us as we say NO to taking away access to birth control. Say no to denying access to lifesaving cancer screenings. Say no to taking away comprehensive sex education from Wisconsin youth. And as we say no to restricting access to abortion. Next week Tuesday, March 13, the Assembly Republicans will be voting on a bill : 1]To further restrict access to abortion and interfere in the doctor-patient relationship.

2]They will be voting to take away private insurance coverage for abortion care.

3]And they will be voting to end comprehensive sex education in Wisconsin They already defunded Planned Parenthood and took away women's access to cancer screenings and birth control.

They repealed the state's Pay Equity law and took away women's right to equal pay for equal work.

"The law was enacted in 2009 for victims of pay discrimination to plead their case in the less-expensive Circuit Court System (with stiffer penalties for employers) rather than suffer a likely loss in federal court -- if they could even get their cases heard at all according to strict federal guidelines And they even tried to legally define "personhood" from the moment of fertilization and take away a woman's right to safe legal abortion in Wisconsin, no exceptions.

Here are some signs you can make to carry at the demonstration: RELIGIOUS LAWMAKERS DISCRIMINATE AGAINST WOMEN EQUAL HEALTH CARE RIGHTS FOR WOMEN NO TO THEOCRACY NO DISCRIMINATORY INSURANCE LAW IN WISCONSIN RELIGIOUS LAWMAKINGBRINGS SHARIA TO WISCONSIN SHARIA LAW IS RELIGIOUS LAWNO RELIGIOUS LAWS IN WI
